What is Vellocity?¶

Vellocity is an AI-powered GTM platform for AWS Marketplace partners. We help you execute go-to-market activities with AI content generation, co-sell partner collaboration, and marketplace optimization.

How much does it cost?¶

Is there a free trial?¶

Yes! We offer a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.

Security & Privacy¶

Do you store my AWS credentials?¶

No. Vell uses cross-account IAM roles with temporary session credentials. We never have access to your long-term AWS access keys or secret keys.

Can you modify my AWS resources?¶

No. The IAM role we use only has read-only permissions for AWS Marketplace APIs. We cannot create, modify, or delete any AWS resources.

What data do you collect?¶

We collect:

Marketplace listing metadata
Performance metrics (views, conversions)
Subscription data
Usage analytics

We do NOT collect:

Customer PII
Payment information
AWS infrastructure details

Is Vell SOC 2 compliant?¶

Yes, Vell is SOC 2 Type II certified. Contact sales@vell.ai for our compliance documentation.

Vell is GDPR compliant. We:

Process data only as necessary
Allow data export and deletion
Use encryption in transit and at rest
Maintain detailed audit logs

Cloud Connectors¶

Why do I need to connect my cloud account?¶

Connecting your cloud account allows Vell to:

Access your marketplace listing data
Track performance metrics
Generate analytics reports
Provide AI-powered insights

How long does setup take?¶

AWS: 5-10 minutes
Azure: On roadmap
GCP: On roadmap

What if I don't have IAM permissions?¶

Use our Email IAM Administrator feature to send deployment instructions to your security team. Your wizard state is saved so you can continue once they complete the deployment.

Can I connect multiple AWS accounts?¶

Yes! You can connect as many AWS accounts as needed. Each connection is tracked separately in your dashboard.

How do I revoke access?¶

You can revoke access in two ways:

From Vell: Go to Cloud Connectors → Click "Revoke Access"
From AWS: Delete the CloudFormation stack

Access is revoked immediately.

Does this work with AWS Control Tower?¶

Yes! The CloudFormation deployment is compatible with AWS Control Tower and respects your organization's guardrails.

Can I import existing listings?¶

Yes! Once you connect your account, we automatically import your existing marketplace listings.

How does AI generation work?¶

You can review and customize everything before publishing.

Can I edit AI-generated content?¶

Absolutely! AI-generated content is a starting point. You have full control to edit, customize, and refine everything.

Does AI generation cost extra?¶

AI generation is included in all paid plans. Free trial users get limited AI generations.

What is the Funding Application Wizard?¶

The Funding Application Wizard generates AWS Partner funding applications for 5 programs: Innovation Sandbox, POC, ISV Workload Migration (WMP), Marketing Development Funds (MDF), and Migration Acceleration Program (MAP). It uses AI-powered guidance, Knowledge Base grounding, and dry-run evaluation with reviewer personas to score your application before submission.

What is the First Call Deck?¶

The First Call Deck generates pre-onboarding presentations with automated internet enrichment. Choose from three scenarios (Partner Co-Sell, Buyer/Prospect, New to Marketplace) and the wizard automatically researches the target company through marketplace listings, company websites, news, and AWS ecosystem data. It works before any Knowledge Base or S3 bucket connection.

Does Vellocity have an ROI Calculator?¶

Yes! The ROI & TCO Calculator helps quantify your GTM platform investment. Enter your team details, weekly time investment, marketplace goals, and current tool costs to get calculated time savings, tool consolidation savings, revenue impact projections, ROI percentage, payback period, and a 3-year TCO analysis. Calculations can be saved and shared via public links.
