Install Your GTM Operator¶
Ron Davis · AWS Marketplace GTM · From listed to bought. · itsrondavis.com
You just spent six sessions building real GTM artifacts on your own product. This is the part you keep running after we're done.
What this is¶
The same six skills I ran with you in our sessions, packaged as one file you drop into your own AI account. Install it once and you've got a GTM operator on call — the Listing Optimizer, Co-sell Outreach Writer, Pricing Story Builder, Demand-Gen Campaign Kit, Agent-Ready Positioning, and Discovery Call Prep — running in your stack, on your product, whenever you need it. No new tool to buy. No login to manage. The payload is the file shipped alongside this guide: gtm-skill-pack.md.
Pick whichever AI tool you already pay for. Setup takes about five minutes.
Set it up (pick your tool)¶
Claude — create a Project¶
- Go to claude.ai and sign in.
- In the left sidebar, click Projects, then Create project.
- Name it
GTM Operator(or anything you'll recognize). - Open the project, find Project knowledge on the right, and click Add content.
- Upload
gtm-skill-pack.md(or paste its full contents). - Done. Start any chat inside that project — the operator is loaded.
ChatGPT — create a Custom GPT¶
- Go to chatgpt.com (Plus/Team/Enterprise) and click Explore GPTs, then Create.
- Open the Configure tab.
- Name it
GTM Operator. In Instructions, paste the Operating instructions section fromgtm-skill-pack.md. - Under Knowledge, click Upload files and add
gtm-skill-pack.mdso the full skill detail is searchable. - Save (top right) — share with Only me is fine. Open it from the sidebar to use.
Gemini — create a Gem¶
- Go to gemini.google.com, and in the left sidebar open Gems, then New Gem.
- Name it
GTM Operator. - In the Instructions box, paste the full contents of
gtm-skill-pack.md. - Save. Select the Gem before you start a chat and the operator is live.
Copilot — add as an agent / instructions file¶
- Microsoft 365 Copilot: open Copilot Studio, create an agent, name it
GTM Operator, and pastegtm-skill-pack.mdinto the agent Instructions (add it as a knowledge source too if your plan allows file upload). - GitHub Copilot: drop the file in your repo at
.github/copilot-instructions.md— Copilot Chat will pick it up as repo-wide context. - Either way, the trigger phrases below work the same.
How to use it¶
Ask for a skill by name. For example:
"Run the Listing Optimizer on our listing."
The operator will ask for the specific inputs that skill needs, then return paste-ready output in a fixed format. The six skills:
| Skill | What it does |
|---|---|
| Listing Optimizer | Scores your AWS Marketplace listing and rewrites title / short / long copy + keywords so humans and agents both "get it." |
| Co-sell Outreach Writer | Drafts the AWS account-team message + a paste-ready ACE opportunity summary, framed to the rep's incentive. |
| Pricing Story Builder | Names your value metric, builds a 3-tier package ladder, and writes a pricing narrative that survives procurement. |
| Demand-Gen Campaign Kit | Builds a 4-week campaign calendar with hooks, an email, and the one metric that says it's working. |
| Agent-Ready Positioning | Writes a machine-legible product statement, trigger tasks, and an ordered agent-readiness checklist. |
| Discovery Call Prep | Preps a 30-minute GTM discovery call — diagnostic questions, likely objections, a timed agenda, and a follow-up line. |
Keep it sharp¶
- Re-run after every change. New listing copy, a pricing update, a new proof point — run the relevant skill again. The output is only as current as the inputs you feed it.
- Bring the output to your next session. When we talk, come with the latest run so we work on real, current work — not last quarter's.
- Re-install when the pack updates. When I ship a new version of
gtm-skill-pack.md, replace the file in your Project / GPT / Gem and you're current.
Want a skill run for you, not just by you?¶
